Let's keep the streak alive and hit 8 games which will be our longest streak this season. While idle last night we had Montreal leap frog us so we're not in 27th place in a league of 31 teams. Keep the tanking alive is the only hope of a shake up in Detroit. I hate being this way but its the only thing within our possibilities with current idiots running things. I guess Kenny Holland should have listened to his inner self when he was saying when Nick Lidstrom retired so will he. What has he accomplished since 2012 season? He's retires taking a hefty salary

The tanking will continue. But maybe it’s Coreau’s turn....I mean, if you’re going to try again to move Howard, give him a hand.

They make no sense. Helm has hands of stone. He's have a decent season and surprised he has 9 goals...he miss about 10-15 more . Oh yeah, he only has played one 82 game season his entire career here. Bertuzzi a top 6? I guess his uncle gave him some dirt on KH or Blashill. I like his moxie and hard work but come on man. Blashill will continue failing yet will stick to the same crap thinking eventually the outcome will be different...it will be next season when he's back in the AHL I'm sounding like a broken record...sick of this season and can't wait until April 7th is over. If we don't have a coach firing on April 8th or the offseason I may cut out the CI package. I'm not getting my money's worth on the enjoyment factor with this team, coach, GM and everything else at the moment. We are the Dead Things right now.

if Blashill gets replaced it probably won't happen before next summer, until other valuable coaches get fired.
So, i believe they are going to wait, we don't need a new coach at the draft...but we need a new GM there !
I wouldnt mind seeing Nill back in, at least he knows our farm and draft systems.
But why would he leaves Dallas to come here ??..same for SY ? Why would they do it ??
So ?
it's going to be a nubie !...like Julien Brisebois..yeah i'm repeating myself, but if we don't act quickly someone else will sign him and he make his new team a cup contender. Enough waiting, let's act now !

Man are these games BORING since the Wings actually had top talent. We all know sports are a diversion from reality........but when THIS WINGS diversion loses like this REALITY is much less painful! Promise no more BS thoughts.

when you see the final score people would thing we've got outclassed again....not the case. Without that amazing and incredible fluke goal by the kings we played a pretty good game...but simply cant win...

I thought we had a decent attack for the most part. I didnt like their first goal. It was a one shot game all the way to the 18:30 of the 3rd so yeah, 4-1 is a bit misleading. 2 goals n 18 seconds. It seems like we've picked up another bad habit of giving up some pretty quick goals back to back. Add this to teh getting scored upon in opening/closing minutes of periods and games. Sad... Clean house Illitches or the Dallas Stars may become my primary team

by the way...no choice..Blashill, even if he would be consider a good coach, cannot come back. The mess is too deep right now.
and sadly again..AA was a pathetic floater tonight....he needs a kick in the butt...

I thought we outplayed and outchanced the Kings for most of the game, but again found a way to lose on a crazy goal from behind the net. For the whole season we are close in every game, but finding way to lose. Probably the best thing right now is to remain competitive, but keep losing.

I think Bertuzzi to top 6 is a GM wanting to move Abdelkader’s contract that he got when Holland was dumb enough to think he’d score 20 goals again anytime soon. Also, Abdelkader is not tough, scares nobody, has never scared anybody, if Bertuzzi can bring that in the top 6, he belongs there. Ken Holland places little value on actually tough, pesty players, so maybe this changes things. I mean, if Marchand were a red wing, he wouldn’t play
Coreau I think overall was solid but ultimately the victim of a worn out defense that would inevitably get mowed over by LA’s offense.
I don’t know how to call out particular skaters for this one. Individual efforts look great, but when this squad resorts to those, that’s been a signal that the team has given up and it’s over
