We'll be without Bertuzzi who was suspended 2 games fro punching Colorado player from the bench. He'll be out against Toronto too so that was a dumb penalty to take.
I don't have a good feeling really as TB has pretty much toyed with us the last few seasons.
We're slipping back into the lottery mix teams...we're only 6 points above dead bottom.
Mantha out with an injury (ouch, out 4-6 weeks with a hand injury)

Blashill supports Mantha for fighting and sticking up for his team mates and is fine with him doing so. To me the guy has fragile hands with fists made of balsa wood -- and he really shouldn't be dropping mitts to engage in fisticuffs. |

The call against AA was BS. Since when would AA rather fall down than skate in alone on a goalie? LOL Us being so tentative on our late PP was also BS. C'mon if you can't set up at least kill the clock. Was the game for us. Team didn't seem to know what to do. That's on Blash. I hate Tampa Bay but our time will come.

Good start...poor finish. Crazy night in the NHL. 15 goals in CBus. GREAT game in Buffalo that I watched.Matthews with the OT winner with 2.7 seconds left. Hat tricks galore! Welcome back to the 80s!

Just saw the highlights....vintage Howard! See his numbers are decent this year but he looked lost. Must admit just seeing the highlights there is little context. Was he as bad as it appeared?

No matter how we play or what we do, we cannot beat this Tampa team, but great effort, fun game and our team is becoming so easy to root for these days, they are playing with great heart.
As to Howard, first 2 goals were absolutely atrocious, but other than that he was OK. Shorthanded goal was a killer.
DK injury is a bummer too.

we were having a good game before Howard decided to play Santa Claus before his time ! On the first goal he had alll the time in the world to clear the puck aways from Johnson, but when he reacted..like a day too late !, it was probably the worst moment to try the poke check. It ignited the Bolts.
On the second goal i cannot believe he went behind the net and blindly tried to pass the puck behind himself...to nobody...except a coupld of white jerseys. And then when the puck was in front of the goal he froze, instead of trying a last attempt, like dislodging the goal, or jump in front...do Something ! no..he froze stiff !
After that Howard was never comfortable, mentally disturbed, i would have yanked him after two periods.
Overall it was a turnover contest, on both side. The ice surface was very bad, puck bouncing around all the time, no way to complete a hard pass.
On the last minutes of the game and on the PP up by a goal no way should Frk be on the ice on the point. We Don't need another goal, we need defense. Dumb mistake by Blashill,even though Frk was not responsible for the SH goal, Green didnt particularly play well on the play.
Anyway its a point, i Don't think we deserve that point but we'll take it, with Dominque in goal we don't score 5 goals.
