Should be a fun evening, don't include the game into the fun.. I guess the fun will be before the game and it will probably be on TV.

Did you see Lidstrom drop the puck yesterday? He look like if he laced em up he'd still be our #1 defenseman.
Be sure to stick around for the post game as I heard Mickey yesterday say that is where the REALLY good farewell stuff will be. Sad to see the the Joe go but it served its purpose however I still want to punch the guy who made them damn stairs leading into the place hahah. I can't recall if my first time in JLA was for a concert or Red Wing game but I do remember going to the Joe and buying cheapest lower bowl tickets at the gate and being able to pretty much pick where I wanted to sit. I remember the going to the Koe for the GLI's and seemed to have a bigger crowd than the Red Wing games.
Lot of great hockey history and memories
The Place of Auburn Hills also close down. I used to be REAL big into the Bad Boys of the late 80's before the NBA created special Jordan rules for one and only one player. As I think back on that there are a lot of similarities with how the Pistons git dicked by the league to prop up Jordan to win a Championship just how the NHL did by dicking Detroit over so Sid the Kid living in Mario's basement could win a Stanley cup

yeah..those stairs were a pain..but the excitment to climb those stairs knowing what's in store for me..is priceless.
Being an outsider to get into the building is like a dream come true...everytime !
Now what i'm excited about the new building is that we probably won't have to leave the area as they will be hotels and bars and everything. Unless the gang loves HTC so much and don't mind walking the 75 overpass to the bar i think HTC will lose half of his revenues next season...

Well it had to happen. Sheahan gets his first goal and I think they posted a stat that his last goal was on April 9th of 2016 (exactly one year). It was a nice goal as well.
Team is playing well so far and have out shot the Devils 17-5 Need to keep it going and end off the season on a positive note.

Hey TomJust curious if you moved to Holland or just a hockey fan there. The Dutch are known for their soccer (..futbol..). Oh yes, and their speed skating but I don't recall them ever having a national men's team or women's in hockey.

Was a sweet goal by Sheahan. Made a slick move later and almost scored. I bet he's happy to get that monkey 🐒 off of his back

Wings win 4-1. Sheahan gets his second goal and the last goal in Joe Louis arena. Glad that a Wing got it and not a devil. Zee gets the first star in his 1000th game. Crowd was in a mood to party. Good for the team to end it this way.

Too bad Sheahan had to score a pair. Now KH will offer him a 5 years contract Worth 25m...
Fun game, fun stuff around the game, fun extra AFTER the game when the players stayed on the ice saluting...
Sheahan took advantage of the fact that the Devils didn't have any intention to compete tonight.
Good win with a sour taste in my mouth. Again Sheahan is consider by this coach as an important tool of this club. He is not, and this kind of vision might lead us further down the spiral.
2 goals doesnt take anything away from a despicable season and the WORST +/- in the NHL..Yes folks..the WORST !
finally its over, i can Watch a John Wayne film now...

Did the last JLA win push us out of the lottery?

I am not sure of the League criteria but the Wings finished 25th in the standings which means there are five teams seeded lower than the Wings.
