And I hated “cheers” for Howard, this is not the way to root for your team and the players. Man do i disagree with you. This Red Wings crowd is the most patient, faithful crowd in the league by far. I think finally Howard got what he deserved. He was lazy and gave up after the first two goals. He didnt even try to stop the 3rd and 4th. |

Just looked over the highlights and saw the poor net play.
At least Jimmy didn't come out and say that "nobody in the world could have stopped those wrist shots from the point" as he did a year ago.
Goalies never and I mean never say they couldn't have had that one let alone talking for any other goalie.
Heard a rumour that Edmonton are looking for a backup goalie and Mrazek was a name mentioned. Wings need as many draft choices as they can get over the next couple of years. They also need a quality goaltending coach.
The only thing longer than a rebuild is when a team is in denial about it.
As Wing fans we don't just want to make the playoffs. We want to contend. I don't see it in this team so the draft (or free agents) is required.
