Not looking too good. Down 3-1 - but PP coming up. WE have played Nashville well so let's see how it goes.

Had we play the first like we played the third we might have won the game.
Two bad goals by Howard.
Mantha look good again, 4th game in a row. AA has a slow start, then regain his confidence.
Still painfull to Watch. In the first we look like a team that still remembered the way the Leafs game ended.
We can't dominate a home, we are now a better team on the road.
its going to be another painfull stretch down the end of this season.

It's tough to watch really I hate doing this but I threw in the towel and rooting for the ultimate tank job for the final 23 games. It would be insane hoping they'd snap out of it but we're the same crappy team as last year and every 10 games we're a variation on 5-5. we're incapable of anything better than .500, so 82 games, 164 total points we're 82 points at the very best. We cannot do any better with the current coach.
Lets go other team(s)!
Oh and so much for home ice advantage, 12-13-7 (12 wins, 20 losses)

I just wish tanking mattered. I know Toronto as accused of doing it but why change the rule because Edmonton sucked legendary levels of ass for a decade and didn’t improve only because they were so poorly managed and coached? Ray Shero proved with NJD that a couple very basic moves and an out of the playoffs team is actually competitive again after missing with one high pick.
I actually think that rule change happened bc Boston wound up with Seguin after taking advantage of Toronto’s mismanagement of the Kessel deal.
I think if Ericsson is movable, he’s the next one to go.

its time for the draft lottery to disappear...
I think everyone is movable and now including AA.
Why suddenly AA me his all time defender ? Cause his game sometimes is not convincing, skating around not knowing what to do. And then suddenly a spark happens and he is all over the place !
Its pretty hard to play as a unit of 5 with him, he is faster than anyone in the league. Hes been "not very good " (dont want to say bad)for a few game before a few good rushes yesterday, always on a breakway though.
He's got potential, but we might never see the full potentiel if Blashill is back next season. By the way i believe Blashill's contract ends after this current season. An extension is not impossible...even though not much discussion is going on at the moment.

Cause his game sometimes is not convincing, skating around not knowing what to do. And then suddenly a spark happens and he is all over the place ! I think sometimes Blash decides to "coach" AA. So AA does what coach says and doesn't feel comfortable and looks outta kilter. Then once coach has confidence in him again he comes to life. Last night I seriously thought he was scratched he was so invisible. Then out come the afterburners and look out !
