No cup, no playoffs, no lottery chance, no posts.

Hard to figure. Are the guys winning to spite KH or Blashill?
I don't believe this baloney about a "winning culture". Where has that been for the past 3 years under Blashill?

I think the Sens found a way to lose before the Wings did. A battle of the worst. Folks we are going to finish 6th, 7th.. around that. It won't change anything, chances to hit the Dahlin lottery are slims.
18%, 11.2% etc...who cares ! We will get two great players in the first round, no doubts. The 2018 first round pool is that deep.
So, i like to see the Wings win...case close !
Today for a change i was a Mantha fan...

Mantha can be a tantalizing guy to watch. He can make great moves, great passes, and is gifted with soft hands but then seems invisible for long stretches.
Some of that I blame on bad coaching and the way they handle his lack of focus, lack of intensity, etc.
He could, if handled properly, produce a 40 goal season, given his skill set and large body.

26th place of 31 teams.
We picked a hellva time to go for a winning streak, currently at 3 and our longest winning streak all season was 4 games.

right now we might have the 6th pick BEFORE the lottery. If we lose all of our remaining games and finish like 28 or 29th we STILL might get the number 6 pick.
...or worst !
Win or lose right now we will need to be awfully lucky to have pick no 1.. And luck is not in the Red Wings DNA..
