it takes years !!
Well for some teams in the NHL it's not that complicated…
The Nukes are 9-6...not bad for a team that finished close to the bottom last season…

Rebuilding is tough to stomach but it needed to happen. We poorly planed for losing #5, 13 and 40 and tried to plug big holes with little plugs.
I like to rebuild with new materials...rebuilding under KH with Jeff Blashill as head coach will be a long road. I'd clean em outta here. End GM complacency and inept coach and we could speed up the process or at least have a new approach, new ideas vs stagnant
I really like Cholowski and glad he's staying put.
Also grabbing off of waiver wire de la Rose looks like a good deal.

Nielsen says he is not yet cleared as the memory testing hasn’t been perfect quite yet. But feels fine otherwise.

Bad start from a team who wasn't ready to compete in the firt half of the game, got better in the second half. Howard played very well again..if he can avoid little screen wrister from the blue line Nothing else can beat him.
Glen look dumb on the second Canucks goal, when deep in our zone, flipped a little blind backhand pass to nobody that got picked up and then they scored on it.
That, for Glenn, would have deserved a trip down a the end of the Bench !
Some notes…
Lil Bert should not be on the ice in OT. Not fast enough...Glen should not be on the ice in OT. Once he was sent on the ice in OT to take a face-off, then we control the puck and manage to wait for a change so that Larks can get back on the ice. Finally some coaching !
Cholo didn't see much icetime in OT. Blashill prefer Green or DK. I Don't agree with that.
in the SO it was a Howard goaltending clinic. Of course..in the SO nobody can screen the puck !

Abby really shouldn't even be dressed  I say similar about Glendening but hes' been playing above his ability as of late Just because a player works hard doesn't mean he's an NHL calibre player We have enough expendable players who can be 3rd-4th liners and/or kill penalties. |
