BUT
The Red Wings could be catching the Bruins (11-6-3) at a good time.
They're missing star center Patrice Bergeron and several defensemen (Zdeno Chara, Charlie McAvoy, Brandon Carlo and John Moore) due to injuries.
Could be a break...but let's not count on it. History tells me it never works.

Again we had a slow start but gradually creeping back into it and made a tight game late in it.
Got to love the Bruins cohesion. Their 4 lines basically play the same way, south-north type of game..fast.
A few games ago i mentionned that i would like to see Raz with Larks and Mo...this move was just NOT to see Abby in there...well he was there ! Abby doesn't belong on the top line. Larks line was terrible the first 40 minutes, same for Nyquist who again was bad...got better late in the game.
Again we found a way to win in OT !! Could this means something ? i mean something great for this current season ? Like SHOCKING the whole NHL !!....Let's be the Golden Knights of the 18-19 season !

Yeah - we are shocking the world. I'm shocked. We'll see how we do after the second third of the season begins. And yup, way too much of #8 late in the game. Why doesn't Blash get it?

Today Blashill was his own self...except in OT. I was praying to see Larks-Mo and DK to start..and he did ! For a moment i thought he'd start with Glen..and Abby ! |

We have a winning record boys! 10-9-2! We win games in OT. We erase 2 goal deficits, we can win close games. What is going on?  Letting the kids play is what’s goin on. AA with a pair, leads team in goals at 9 passing Larkin. Thanksgiving break, going on nice run the last 11 probably saved a job  it’s the Thanksgiving break. |
