Right its the coachs fault their most experienced defenseman fucked up...should have had a rookie out there! FIRE BLAS! ROTFLMAO! Well you saw what happened with our, ahem,"most experienced defenseman" out there. Problem with Blashill is he follows the dogma that your " most experienced insert player here" will always be the right guy for the spot. Abby got 18 1/2 minutes last night and was -4. How'd that work out?

About the same as Glendening getting 17+ and being a -3. The bottom line is it would have been two points had a ..."PLAYER"...not messed up. Reminds me of when the Tigers bats went cold during the World Series and many fans blamed Leyland and demanded he be fired. Managers/coaches are always the scapegoats to some....when even most players will tell you they have little to nothing to do with the end result in the long run. That is why most are paid a fraction of what players make. Rightly so!

Coaches do make a difference that is why the good ones get paid well for their services. Yes, its just one piece, you have to have players but without a good coach you won't have a lot of success...meaning playoff wins and cups.
