...it's me new year resolution...Always expecting good things ! Wings held an optional skate today, Bernier was first off the ice. There were some different looks to both the lines and defense pairs when the Red Wings took to the ice Friday in practice at American Airlines Center in Dallas. Andreas Athanasiou skated on the top line with Dylan Larkin and Justin Abdelkader; Gustav Nyquist was with Frans Nielsen and Thomas Vanek; and Tyler Bertuzzi was back with Luke Glendening and Michael Rasmussen.

overall it was a bit embarrassing to Watch this game. A total mess we were. A question...how come we Always have to start a PK with E and Daley on defense ? Is this a written rule ? Why can't this coach adjust to the game ? Why Abby Always have critical minutes on the top line but yet cannot even touch the puck ?
Why AA didnt touch the puck all night long accept for one scoring chance late in the game ? What is wrong with him ? Maybe he too can't dig this coach..
Its time to play the kids even more, it doesnt make any sense not to play Cholo more…It doesn't make any sense not to see Cholo on the PK sometimes. We stand still we Don't put pressure on anybody when down a man in our zone, we don't play physicaal enough,
Embarrassing..and a mess with are..
Happy New Year

That was one stinker of a game. Not the worst we've played but certainly in the top five. No effort, no hustle, no will to win. We lost almost every board battle. Blashill takes the award for biggest dickhead of the year. He comes out and says the defensemen will be rewarded with playing time based on their performance. He starts out with Hronek and Cholowski paired together and says they can be trusted b/c they've had plenty of time in the NHL. They play well with LIMITED minutes in the first period and it's 0-0. So that dick with ears goes and fucks around with the defensive pairs. He teams Kronner with Hronek and those two looked like they were in a death struggle with each other ratrher than teammates. Result: Hronek is -3 and Kronner is -4. Add to that Heonek was on the ice for the Stars. I mean holy f*ck Batman. HOw do you keep sending laurel and hardy out there before you figure out it ain't working? I guess it took dickhead nearly two periods. Blashill just needs to go the f*ck away. I hear that old line "Well he's won everywhere he's coached" well.............HE AIN'T WINNING NOW and he certainly isn't doing much for the development and confidence of our kids. How are we supposed to develop the kids when Blashill continues to give big minutes to Vanek, Neilsen, Ericsson, and Daley??? The thing that would make the fans happiest in the new year? Fire Blashill.

I see where the team is going. I also see where the forum already is. Vent/blame Blas for the failings of a low talent team. Nobody can make chicken salad out of chicken shit! Sure he could try different minutes for different players and even new tactics BUT in the long run this team simply won't be very good....no matter the coach! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Fire Blashill. I think it's time to act, but this coach won't be the one to act. Sadly all it matters to him are vets, and until this organisation understands that it is time to go with the youth full throttle this is the kind of game we will have. Its time to play the kid and lose...because with the vets we still lose so.. Without this depleted line-up maybe things would be different. When you lose 5 regulars at the same time it's hard to expect good results, depth is everything in today's hockey, we don't have that luxury ...but that's where we are right now and a full line-up will only happens when we will officially be out of the playoffs….

That was what you call an old fashioned ass kicking We're 3 points away from dead last place 31st. We are just about to the 1/2-way point of the season, 40 games and we have 36 points and 13 Regulation Wins...ouch! Lottery chances increasing
