That penalty shot from AA made such a loud "thump" and came out so fast I thought it was off the goalie pads and was a save LOL Man, he beat the goalie like a rented mule.
You guys see what happened around the 9:30 mark of the second? Larks and Nyquist get paired with Vanek then Bertuzzi and a little creativity starts to happen.
Move AA up to a top line and demote Boom Boom just seems so painfully obvious. It's killing me, man.

So what's going on? Is the board, like, shut for the new year or something?

Can anyone justify the FACT that Ericsson is on the ice every second shift, made countless blunders but is Always on the ice, while Cholo waits on the bench, no PK AT ALL ! That doesn't make any sense at all.
And Abby now...Always on the ice, specially on PK, (worst at home in the nhl), still waiting to see ANYTHING positive about this guy...a total nonsense to consider Abby and Ericsson important players in this team enough to play them regarless of the quality of their game.
Does Cholo really look that bad ?...absolutely not, he is still the best IMO
And Howard as usual saw the scoreboard and we were ahead 2-0..said "naaah..i cant let that happens let's give them a few softies.
This team has again a good start then suddenly AGAIN we were a total mess…
..but of course let's not blame Howard nor Blashill for his players selection.

Chris it takes a specially breed of fans to care to write Something after this last stretch of 11 games….1-7-3 ! it's going to be a painfull and very long second half of season..sadly. When all of "fragiles" vets come back it will be too late…

So what's going on? Is the board, like, shut for the new year or something? I think the 3 of us have been busy or perhaps losing interest This is the first season I can remember that I missed more games in the first 41 than I have in probably 15 years or so. It is making me question why I have the Center Ice Package. I still love the game of hockey but our team is really predictable and you can count on this for 95% of the games. The other 5% are the flukes when a basement dweller embarrasses an elite team.

See this is the pridicitibility I mentioned with the exception that we can be ready sometimes to start but usually behind the 8 ball. We can count on our coach/teams questionable asset allocations in every game type situations, not being ready, cardinal sin goals in opening/closing minutes of games and periods, too soft around our net, coughing up 1, 2 and 3 goal leads and losing etc Oh and I forgot to mention about Howard. I think the guy need to get an eye exam or change the prescription as he totally wiffs on a lot of shots from way out...even when he has a clear view of the shooter Can anyone justify the FACT that Ericsson is on the ice every second shift, made countless blunders but is Always on the ice, while Cholo waits on the bench, no PK AT ALL !
