Hindsight is 20-20 but it seems we didn't do a very good job attempting to fill the holes of franchise players who left/retired. I understand some are irreplaceable but still. You don't know what you got til its gone. We found out how how important #5 was when he left. We found out how important #13 was when he left. Today even with a bad back Hank we're seeing what the absence of #40 has on our team.

I'm keeping fingers crossed for a real #1 pick who can be an impact player right from the get go. We're goign to have to get franchise players through the draft as we don't have enough quality assets to make any meaningful trades.
