Don't know how many of you watched the 3-3 tournaments today..but i did ! Fun thing to Watch but it doesn't really tell you much about this pool of prospect. In a 3-3 tournament Don't expect defense to be a part of it...and it wasn't !
Some shine some Don't . The sure value were of course Veleno and Hirose. Veleno has good Chemistry with McLeoad with whom he played in junior hockey. On the ice it was obvious. Hirose shouldn't have been there, he scored a few goals skating from end to end untouched.
Seider look very good. Again no defense in there just offense, and he showed some good moves, it was obvious he was a first round pick !
One player that i really wanted to see was Berggren. He didn't dissapoint me. We will see and hear more about him later this year.
Some surprise ? Alex limoges. Scored a ton of goals. Ethan Phillips a fourth round of this year showed good speed and moves..but needs to eat some pizzas !
In goal ? no way to judge any of them...no chance on a 3 on 3. Laarsson had some good moments but overall not so much, my favorite was Eliasson
I like Setkov. Big defenseman, he caught my eyes last year and this year he was even better. I don't know where is going to go next season but i hope the Wings keep a good eye on him.
overall a fun event to watch..but this camp is to see the prospects, teach them how to be a Red Wing...no way can anyone be judged by this kind of event...

final day...scrimmage is on..in case you misseed it..
Seider is a good pick. Looks like a leader who can play on both side of the ice He likes to support the attack but will never put his team at risk.

Great display of talent at LCA this Week.
Starting with the number one pick in 2019 Mo Seider. You can relax guys it was a good pick. Seider looks good, good speed, great puck movement, likes to support the attack while showing a lot of confidence. Could be a leader in the makin. They will keep a good eye on him when the real camp starts.
Veleno was good too although he took some time out this Week.
It was fun to see Bergrren healthy this Week. He too look very good, not big but a fiesty player with some great skills.
Another player that caught my eyes was little Otto Kivenmaki. He gained 25 pounds since his last Dev camp and it showed. He is a good play maker and a good shooter with some speed. He certainly didnt look like a 5' 8" this Week.
Other mentions to Ethen Phillips, the fourth rounder who again look very good. Still needs to gain some weight and strenght though.
Another D that i like was Patrick Holway Who is 22 and 6' 4". Strong and good skater who loves to carry the puck.
Overall we look bigger, specially on defense. These defenses can all carry the puck and play a good transition game while supporting the offense.
In net they all look much better today then yesterday. Petruzelli was batling the puck yesterday but not so much today. They are all big witch is a plus.
