So far early on the Wings have been right there. A continuation from last April. Realize they have little depth so key injuries would hurt but it is fun again to watch the Wings! Hope it lasts!

no i wasnt..
And this can't be real..maybe i'm having a wet dream at the moment, but don't wake me up !
Seriously..i wasnt expecting that kind of performance. Nerve wrecking for me but we control the whole flow of the game that it wasn't really tough to Watch. We dominated on all aspect of the game. I'm surprise the Habs didnt come out with more poise and intensity, maybe they've left a bit of that in Buffalo last night. But let's not take anything away from the Wings performance tonight. magical to say the least, the 4 lines contributed, even Abby didnt look bad.
Cholo on defense is getting better, a little more poise and toughness in deep, that's the part of the game he needs to improve, when he has the puck from our blue line the other team's net he is very leathal.
Bernier was good, the top line was as usual incredible...what can you see WE BEAT THE HABS RIGHT IN MONTREAL !!!!!

I was impressed with our game tonight. I thought Helm looked good all night. It was nice to see us retain that lead in the 3rd on road in Montreal where its not an easy place to play. Secondary scoring from Luke and Helmer helps out and we'll need that as well as AA who should hit decent totals this season -need others netting a few here and there too. Mantha had a sweet shot and stays hot, looks like a real player. Stay healthy and consistent and he could be on to something I'd like to see some more sandpaper around our net, the bodies need to hit the floor vs having a party with 2-3 dudes hackin/whackin you goalie Historic original six matchups get me goin a d we have another one Saturday at home against the Leafs.

At least now you can see the Wings bring it on occasion. Looks so far like Larkin MAY be right. Maybe the Wings will be playing for something next April. One thing is for sure...the Tigers won'tick

You knows those games where the other team whips your tail but they have no puck luck and we somehow beat them? I didn't see that in our win last night. I thought we carried the play through large portions of the game. Very competitive and good to see.

I thought we carried the play through large portions of the game. Very competitive and good to see. Your take was echoed by various talking heads across the NHL landscape. Also heard a couple...Whats wrong with Montreal...takes too. Like...How could they lose to Detroit?...My guess is we will see more of both at least early on. Once the inevitable injuries hit my guess is they will sink some depending on who and when. Green is overdue:) I have not had this much fun watching and looking forward to games in years! Toronto coming in after having being beaten like the rented mule (do they actually rent mules somewhere? and most expect them to thrash Detroit. I don't! Get decent goalie play and anything can happen. The question may soon come is...How do we stop the LMB (is their a nickname yet?) line ? LGRW!!!
