Interesting top 6. I actually kinda like it. Helmer has shown some brief streaks in his career where he can get hot. So he deserves a stint on the top line. Should be interesting with 2 speedsters on that line.
I'm really interested to see what the second line does. Can Flip set up AA for the long bomb? Does AA start carving out some territory somewhere and not rely on the bomb? A dirty goal and a breakaway goal would be great for AA tonight! And let's see if Mantha can keep rolling along.
They've stunk a few games so this should be a good "character" game for them. Let's see ....

Good "character" so far but zero goals.

Hey the guys tried tonight. 38 shots on goal but when the other team's backup is superior to your number one starter then there's not a lot you can do. Heard that this is the first time since 1989 the Wings have lost 7 in a row. At least we are starting to see some of the young guys playing.

Pretty sad really . We had a decent push in second half of the third but the goaltending was better than ours. At this point I don’t know what is worse, our special teams or even strength play. Lets keep the streak alive, maybe a coach will get sent to Grand Rapids where he belongs. Ouch! www.espn.com/nhl/standings/_/group/league 2 good things here...Ottawa is the worst team and we have more wins than Chicago

its getting harder and harder to write Something constructive about this whole thing….same thing repeats itself; the other goalie is magical (or lucky, at time i thought we aimed at his belly..or mask, occasionnaly he couldnt see the puck..but it still hit him !
Overall there is more negative stuff than positive. Yesterday we should have been more intense, should have played like there is no tomorrow… i didnt see that, sadly . Again some are not giving their best, i have to mention AA again, yes he wants to score dearly but yesterday he had some occasions to set up someone but instead, elected to shoot, usually it produced an easy save. Right now AA is thinking about himself first than the team...not good ..
Again Green...geez what the heck is going on with him ?...I think he is not physically at his best, still has that thing from last year. Anyway he look bad out there.
I trust that SY will eventually clean up the place and starts from scratch. If i cant see a win i need to see crazy intensity...Something i Don't see enough...

That may consist of getting rid of everyone except maybe Mantha and Lil Bert. I'm not even sold on Larking any more. On pace for a 15 goal year.

What lil Bert has done to get paired with Mo as untouchables ? Lil Bert without Larkin is close to be useless. They play him as the net front guy on the PP but he doesn't know how to do it..should i screen the goalie or should i stay away...and i see more and more down on the ice sitting on his butt !...reminds me of boom boom.. Hes got golden hands to score fluke goals..but without Larkin Lil Bert is, IMO, totally useless.. To me these are the untouchable...at the moment ! Larkin, Mantha Cholo, HKronek ..and that's it ! SY can get rid of Nemeth for a bag of puck for all i care...Right now Helm looks like the most intense of the bunch..that is not normal and we know it ain't going to last !

Bert is our second leading scorer goals and points wise. Only 2 of his goals were on assists from Larkin. Anyway ...... You know what's really sad, Pierre, an NHL roster is what 23 guys, and I have a 3 man untouchable list and you have a 4 man untouchable list. On top of that here I am trying to defend some guy with 4 goals as "untouchable" and you are countering with your "untouchable" guy that has 2 goals. LOL Think about that. No wonder there's only about 5 guys on this board any more. Maybe when I come to Montreal we skip the game and just watch from the booby bar?

goals isn't everything...prevent goals is usefull too…
Booby Bar ?...after the game maybe...but you can bet your grey sweater that i will Watch every seconds of the game sitting on my very expensive Bell Center seat…
...i guess i'll have to find a pair a tx very soon...maybe they will be cheap too (relatively)cause the Habs arent doing too well at home...
