Vegas is on the back end of a back to back. Plus last game of a 4 game road trip for Vegas. Detroit coming of a solid win with more rest. Should be advantage Wings. We shall see.

Vegas has the kind of defensive game i like. They are in your face all the time, you need to move to puck fast with them…
BUT
On a back to back games they got tired in the third, suddenly we had more room and gained confidence. And confidence is everything. Again Mo, Larks were a dynamic duo, thank God the match teacher got them together late in the game. What a waste of talent to play Mo with Fil. Mo has to play Larks and Bert all the time, even if this is our only line.
Bernier again look solid. He probably would like to have another chance on the second goal, a bad one, he simply lost his net.
Now about AA. Great goal again but his overall game, again, was Dangerous. He still has the tendency to skate hard, shoot, then…stop ! or slow down, just for a fraction of second. Most of the fans probably didnt see that, but i'm sure SY did. Until AA learns to skate all the time and play hard all the time he will never be an impact player...and might be trade before this one is over.
By the way is Hickett injured( or back to GR) ?...Mcllrath didnt play bad tonight but..wouldn't you prefer to see Lil Joe instead ?
Anyways its two in a row folks !!

Nice to get back to back wins. Vegas did play the night before but it all evens out over the year.....so they say..
Bernier playing back to back was key to the team's confidence.

I noticed this as well he doesn't play as hard without the puck as he does with it or trying to get open to get the puck. There is a reason he the wort +/- so far this season. I wish he'd bust ass on the backcheck like he does when he rushes the net. I agree on Bernier, I didn't like that second goal. I bet Suban would like a couple back...dunno if he has a lame game but certainly looked like you shoot low, one the ice or 1 inch high

It was an absolutely defensive clinique by Vegas as we had 10 shots on goal in the first 50 minutes. But somehow we played great last 10 minutes and found a way. There is certainly hope after 2 games like this in a row. Regarding AA, I noticed he rarely has one on one breakaways this season. Either opponents are prepared for it now or Fil is not the right center for him. Is Howard done? And I knew Nielsen has zero goals, but I did not realize he has ZERO POINTS. In 15 games for $5.25 mil dollars. That's crazy, how a third line forward with 13 minutes per game (I am guessing, too lazy to actually check) can get zero points in 15 games?! Smith recalled for Abby. I liked what Smith brings to the table and now Helm/Ehn/Smith is a nice speedy 4th line. I also liked what I saw from Svechnikov in the last 2 games and I would like to see him again.
