well after a couple of games i presume we went back to our normal self tonight.
Not much intensity, not much enthusiasm. Like they say, we went with the flow. It's too bad because after two good games these fans deserved better.
And to see the first 3 goals scored on "big E" side makes me want to puke. Why do they play him ?..instead of anyone in GR ? ANYONE !!… And the deflected goal off his skate is no bad luck, there is a technique around the net on how to place your skates. Did anyone ever seen lids deflect a puck for a goal ? NEVER !! He knew how to position his skates around his net....how many goals were deflected off of E's skates in his career? Too many !
And he is Always late on his coverage...sad sight !
One good thing about this game is Z again. They gave him enough icetime this time, and he look better and better.
Our defenive coverage in between the circle is the worst in the league. Its like a highway for the opponents, an area where any opponent should die instantly...against us they come in, head down knowing they are not going to get hit.
And Comries gives up too many rebounds...but we can't blame him of course..

Good result though Pierre. Four point game vs LA who is contending with Detroit for the top picks! Someone posted earlier they really need TOP picks like one or two to find Kane,Crosby etc... Agree on Z...nice to see a shooter! He and the great Nielson:) led the team with three SOG each:). BTW...Wings now up four points on NJ and they have three games in hand! Next closest to the Wings are OTT/CBUS and they have nine more points than Det AND games in hand:)

About Zadina now... His best improvement in the recent weeks is his play without the puck. Suddenly he is not the winger who just skates his corridor and wait for the perfect pass. He gets involved in the play, forechecking and surprinsly can win battles along the board. I would love to see him succeed more we he has a chance to score. Last night he got robbed on one specific good chance...normally if you have a magic stick you should score on a chance like that. On the other hand his fluke goals showed me in can score goals on any kind of shots..even a missed one ! He backcheck hard, compare with Mantha has been floating a bit since his return from injury, Z might eventually become a good defensive player. Just imagine if he can buckle up a few more pounds. Overall he is improving, even though i'm not sure he is a true no6 pick and will eventually be a top liner... Now let see Veleno before this one is over..
