my tv says the game starts at 7pm..but the Wings schedule says it starts at 8...
be aware of that..
No chance for a win tonight unless Bernier steals it...we rarely play well in NY Isles..

The thing that matters tonight is that the potential trade bait guys have a good game. T-bay just traded, in effect, two first rounders for a player and Boston gave up a veteran and a first round pick for a player as well. Point is that the price is high for anyone who is traded. Not saying that AA will bring a first round pick but no less than a 2nd rounder and a possible lower pick or decent minor league prospect.
Last I saw was that Green could bring in a mid round pick but even if that turns out to be a 3rd rounder then that's not too bad. Bernier could also be traded but I think Yzerman would want a decent pick as Bernier is scheduled to come back next. Jimmy (0-19-2) Howard is not coming back.

Even though it doesn't matter, even though we are the worst and we will stay the worst, what's tough to see is that tonight we refuse to compete. You look at the second Iles goal where two Wings forwards floated back to our zone on an odd man rush that give Eberley an easy goal. To me its unnacceptable but hey..who cares !
No physicality, no intensity, even the NY didnt need to play hard, it was too easy. Thank God Bernier still play like he cares...
Yes we are out of it and yes SY has probably decided that no matter what he will let this season dies like it is, ready to accept anykind of performance. I can accept it too...but if we start the next season with the same coaching staff it will be very tough to support this team again.
i can only imagine the fans in the attendance..i wonder if some have asked for a refund ?
