not much to say about this one. Except Rasmussen, Hicketts in the first and Mrazek the rest didn't shine much. Its quite amazing to see, on the last day of the TC, so many players that will never crack the Wings line-up.; Shine, Ford, Lorito, Holsmtrom, Mcllrath (played well will certainly be on the list of necessary recalls)
Holmstrom has to be the disappointment number one of this whole camp. Cannot skate, cannot control the puck nor make a pass, a totally useless player...and draft pick. He will go back to mother Swede very shortly.
Camp is over now on to the real thing thursday.

You would have thought that NHL players (chuckles) would have stood out with this line up. But I will say that Abdelkader and Glendening would make pretty decent career AHL players.
I don't care how young Rasmussen is. I only saw 3-4 preseason games but he looks pretty good should have made the cut, he can score while Sheahan and Glendening cannot -- and no I would not put him on the 4th line. He'd have low expectations and anything he'd do would be a positive. He should at least go to GR to learn the pro ropes vs back to his junior team. He's going to be a good NHL player when he grows into his frame, that is if we don't ruin him by making him a 4 line grinder when he comes up.
