watching Big Mo recently..just when he scored his easy goal...looking at him..i suddenly saw Dubois for Mantha..one on one !
Pierre LeBrun @pierrevlebrun List of teams that I believe have inquired with Columbus on Pierre-Luc Dubois, obviously some with more seriousness than others (in no particular order): Anaheim, Minnesota, Montreal, Winnipeg, Calgary, Ottawa, Rangers, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Detroit, Washington and Arizona. Dubois has some commitment issues...but if SY is interested its because he knows he can fix it..
Looking at Big MO recently, floating around, scoring goals without any reaction..i'd swap him for Dubois right now..
This is a new season, Mantha is healthy, new contract. But instead he shows no interest, no passion, no intensity..most of the time.
Its time to make a move with him, everybody on this team is working as hard has i ever seen...except Mantha..
So go for it !
...you can include Helm and Nielsen in the deal if you want ! lol

So Pierre, who would you put on the top line with Larks and 'lil Bert? I'm thinking Ryan would be great !

Saw that LeBrun post. I also saw the replay of the Dubois shift where he was apparently benched right after. The guy wants out. He's 22, 6 ft 3 inches, fast and skilled and was very good for Columbus in the playoffs last year. Two possible reasons he wants out is that he didn't like the way Torts treated him during the playoffs last year and also he wants to play in a more high profile city. I don't know if that means New York, Chicago or Montreal but Detroit is still hockey town USA.
I would go for a Mantha for Dubois trade. Wings could also through in a non first round draft pick to ensure the deal. Some experts are stating that teams will pay THE PRICE for a talent like this.
It was suggested by experts that Montreal would have to give up Suzuki and Kotkaniemi (two young starters)

Never heard of DEANGLO...i presume you mean DeAngelo The guy is a cancer...a major cancer. he has had a history of fights with teammates, the last one, with goalie Georgiev, was too much. Nobody will sign him..he is gone to the minor ..and maybe the KHL..

He made it this far. He went 15-38-53 in 19/20. Who was the last Wings D-man with 50+ points? Get him some mental help. Teams are stupid not to consider him. His 9.6 million dollar contract is probably a problem too. BTW...thanks for correcting my spelling! DeAngelo was put on waivers and nobody claimed him...so that tells you a lot about him.. We had a chance to have him for free.. NB I accidently erased your reply...here it is in a different form..

His salary is too much these days. No fans in the stands hurts.
