I'm assuming a very bad finish for the Wings this year and would be surprised if they even came close to making the playoffs.
I really wanted to like Blashill but I just don't think he's an NHL coach. Even our boys will watch games with me and they always remark about how Blashill is trying to coach like this is an AHL team and it's just not the same thing. Plus he doesn't really have the horses either. Unfortunately I don't see anyone really wanting to come here right now. So it's either take a chance with yet another rookie or wait until the rebuilding is showing promise.
Seriously ... if you want the best "bang for the buck" in southeast Michigan right now, go see a Toledo Walleye game this year. An 8000 seat arena that sells out every game and the team is always a favorite to advance to their conference finals. They love that team in Toledo.

Want to see the Wings win tonight. Regarding the season, if they don't really turn it around then I want them in the lottery. TSN has them as last place in the East which may happen.
TSN also showed the top potential draft choices and the first overall was a young Swedish d-man who can do it all and is doing it in a Swedish league - not a Junior A league. Hmmmm.......

Nowadays you must suck for years to get high picks. The Wings SURELY will suck this season. Should be a lottery pick. Now can they keep it up?

I would like to see at least one more Cup before I leave this world. The ONLY way that is going to happen is for the Wings to get at least four or five lottery picks that deliver. Thus they must suck for many seasons. The Cap made it so.

Big E should not be allowed on the PK. Good PP for 2. That being said - I'm finding it hard to see what line is on the ice often because we aren't touching the puck. A lot of turnovers. But maybe we get some breaks that we are owed. I have no objection to stealing one !!!
