I teach organizational behavior at Kent State University and am adding a section on trust as a source of strategic advantage to my course. This article will be of great help. I see this in the work of consultants: a lack of trust friction. Frictional variability, costly transactions and handoffs, reduced ability to plan, make decisions and solve problems.
