he must already regret to having signed for the Wings I'm not a big fan of Nielsen and his 6 million dollar contract. Helm doesn't have anything but speed be that is slowing down be he gets 4.5m. I think they gave him a verbal of top 9 forward spot. I'd like to see him with some more skill, maybe Nyquist who is a decent set up guy with skill. We'll see tonight. I'll probably miss half of the game as I wont be home about 8:30pm or so

And Frk is obviously scratched because well, how can we possibly do without Abby in the top 6. Larkin-Abby-Tatar line just works wonderfully...

I still haven't see the official lines...was an "optional" skate this morning. With how we're playing we need mandatory skates hahah

Can we have the puck Skills team against another team who is looking to find some... Guess whose who ! Through 40 minutes i think the Bolts have had the puck for 38 minutes...We are Lucky its still tie and Lucky they don't have more shots on goal, plenty were blocked or wide... Praise the Lord for the third period...

again same players were on the ice the last 3 or 4 minutes of the game. Tatar and Nyquist who haven't done a thing all night long were there, no AA and no Mantha. Neilsen was there cause he's score both goals but should he really be there ?
Bad players selections, no time-out. how can you expect full intensity if you keep the same players on the ice Yes we came close but overall the Bolts toyed with us, and the Math teach behind the bench is clueless. Beside chewing his gum and watching the jumbotron he is good for Nothing, i Wonder if he said anything to his players the whole game.
Green was horrific, E for his talen had a decent game, Jensen and XO barely played in the last period...
Something has to be done, don't let you fool by the score it wasnt close.

I only got to see the third. I don’t know how you leave Stamkos that wide open. I get we’re on the PK but we have to do a better job on coverage...over commit on Kooch and forgot about the NHL’s point leader.
Turnovers after turnover in our own zone. 4-6-1 not very good..

Watch Larks on that play. He had all the time in the world to get the puck out before the goal. he turned the puck over, forgot to cover the best player in the league..and voila ! Don't want to blame Howard on the third goal but he was surprised by the play. Should have been ready and square, instead he was floating in his crease...but Kroner and Green were both caught behind the net...and look pathetic !

yeah...that was Larkins man and you could tell he knows it by his reaction after Stamkos scored.
With the new slashing rule so many games are going to be decided by special teams play. If you don't have a good PPU or PKU you'll probably not have a good year. Tampa Bay has a great power play which is why they have such a good record so far and Stamkos and Kucherov and #1 and #2 in points.. I wish the refs would be given more leeway on making that call. I've seen one handed slashing calls that didn't impede the opposing players progress at all and probably didnt notice any contact at all.

We lost 2:3 to the best team in the league that has a 6 and 0 home record and averages more than 4 goals per game. They scored 2 goals on a PP (what else is new) and our PP was terrible again. I personally thought overall it was a decent showing. Howard cannot think about Stamkos when Kucherov has the puck on his stick. Kucherov has like the best wrister in the NHL and scores regularly against us.

And I do not know how much Z or other veterans controlling Blashill, but the reality is they either indeed control him or he has absolutely no clue. And for the coach who had so much success prior to NHL, I refuse to believe that he really thinks Abby should play 21 minutes, the most among forwards, that Kron should be on a PP and that Kron, Abby, Tatar and Nyquist (all 4 of them) should be on the ice in the last minute trying to tie the game. And that those 4 players should be on the same PP unit (that is operating at 5% clip in the last 6 games, all losses).
