Good win. Mrazek was sharp when he had to be. Hockey is much easier to play when you have the lead. Aside for about 1:00 when it was 4 on 4 when we didn’t touch the puck we played really well.
I hope Nyquist’s injury isn’t too severe...looked pretty bad.

All of those things comes from a coach who mixed up everything after saying he would keep these lines together for a while (that makes him a lier..right ?)

One thing i like though was Z finally is not everything in that team. I never thought i'd see the day when we start a PP without him at center.
We did and it worked !(Manthas' goal tap in)
I never thought i'd see the day when Z is being replaced by Glen for a face-off in our zone late in the game..
..leading 4 zip !
Are we finally seeing a change of guard ?
And Mrazek was great. .Oh please all mighthy God let him play like this for a while...

Green playing by far the best he has with the Winged Wheel. Great defensively tonight as you said - broke up that play nicely and turned it around in a hurry. My homeboy FRK looking more complete as games go by. His patience was rewarded. Although - don't ever expect production to meet time earned on ice on this team - if history is any indicator. I'm enjoying watching Jensen progress - looks like a good heads up defenseman. XO better than expected. Great to see Mantha et al's confidence growing. Time well spent tonight. Pray for Tippett !!! |
