Journeyman is a stretch. Wit only played for 1 team prior to this season. Unless you project he will change 5-6 teams in his career. I actually think he is a keeper. Decent defensively and brings the element we clearly miss. And cheap.

That is the kind of stuff that happens when the refs put the whistle away with 35 minutes of hockey left. If they had stepped in on some of those Flames cheap shots earlier, this probably wouldn't have happened. Of course Tkachuklehead was still on the ice so it may have happened anyways.

After looking at some of the other angles, they got Wit back off the ice and Tkachuk reached out and punched him which is when it got really ugly. Wit will probably get his 10 games for coming back on the ice, but Tkachuk better get five for punching a guy that was already off the ice.

Tkachuck also speared him in the leg when he was off the ice.

Tkachuck also speared him in the leg when he was off the ice. That is why he returned to the ice...he should also get a suspension.

Well, the rule clearly says returning even to the bench for any reason, so rules are rules. There better be some kind of grievance filed though if Tkachuk gets nothing for instigating that.
Was just looking at the bloody mouth Mantha looks like he gave Hamonic again.
So let’s just hope that they ride some thing from this game into the next bunch of games. Maybe Ericsson will have a Fight next. Last time he did that, there was a winning streak

I believe E turned down the offer.
