The Detroit Red Wings will open up a 5-game home stand by hosting the New York Rangers Friday evening and both teams will display significantly different "looks" on their top lines, for very different reasons.
As you probably know by now, the Red Wings placed Tyler Bertuzzi along Henrik Zetterberg's wing at practice on Thursday, and "demoted" Anthony Mantha to both Dylan Larkin's wing and replaced Mantha with Bertuzzi on the power play.

oh yeah I saw that....goog lord...a kid works how a kid is supposed to work so you give him a top 6 to be an atta boy head cheerleader..I mean coach,,,way to go buddy...here's top PPU for you too.
out of all of the line juggling the genius in charge still won't put Mantha-Larkin-Athanasio together. We keep losing, we keep not scoring goals, we keep having no line continuity or chemistry.
Yay Team! Try to win a game at home, the empty seats miss you and so does their momas!

I've been receiving many emails from the Wings box offices about a sudden outburst of tx available.. Have they finally realized that their is a problem ?

Well, we're down 1 zip. Will we lose another one?
It "seems" like we lose almost every game recently yet our win % is about .500. Maybe because of 3 pt games. I need to check our recent record to see how we are doing. But it can't be very good.

Their is no way to kick this coach out if we play with that kind of intensity. KH just don't see all the little mistakes Blashill does every game. We are stuck with this coach til the end of this season...at least.
Funny how good AA is when he logs decent icetime. Just imagine how good Mantha would be if would have that kind of "free spirit" on the ice. AA was all over the ice, he had fun, he was fun to Watch WHAT ELSE DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND BLASHILL !!!
On the not so funny side of this game..go Watch a replay of the first Rangers goal, try to find Green in there. Tell me what the heck was he thinking by skating like we had an odd man rush FOR us, while we still don't have control of the puck yet !! Desharnais is still laughing. This is the kind of play that tells me we would be better if Green was gone now.
Now Watch for Blashill to split AA from Larkin...because they were too much fun to Watch !
Good win anyways...

I think we're a better team as well but the record is still a pretty good indicator It is depressing 28th place out of 31 teams in the league...now that my friends IS BAD This season IS over. Now could we have had a bigger positive impact if we had a better coach who knows how to what he's actually doing? I think so. I quickly counted 11 of our losses were by one goal games so we're in a lot of games. We just accepted losing and are extremely fragile on the mental toughness/confidence department. I love Ken and Mickey, along with Keats, Darren and Ozzie and its part of their job to help promote the Wings and not throw in the towel -- but its time for me to do so. I figured we'd improve over last season and fight for 8th in the Eastern Conference, not 8th place in out Division (ouch). We just need to tank and hope we win the draft lottery for a #1 pick. Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder can see the magic in a bottle with Larkin and Athanasiou...why not keep them together? We don't have the depth to think we can have a balance or any continuity in line flow. Stack a line a role with it and that is what AA-Larks-Mantha can bring. Who knows, tinkering with the bottom 9 may find a spark bit for heavens sake...reunite the line as leave em be for the rest of the season to gives some excitement and entertainment They'll be better players next season if you let the horses juts run free.
