No it's not ! Just wanted to get your attention Jimmy Howard in starter’s net at morning skate. Mike Green (upper body injury) not skating today. Has missed three games. Likely to be traded by Monday’s deadline, so at this point might be best to just keep him out of lineup. lines at skate: Nyquist-Zetterberg-Mantha Tatar-Larkin-Athanasiou Abdelkader-Nielsen-Helm Booth-Glendening-Frk (Bertuzzi working in) defense pairs: DeKeyser-Jensen Ericsson-Daley Kronwall-Ouellet Witkowski appears to a scratch tonight. Bertuzzi working on second power play unit, so it looks like he’s in tonight and Frk out, replaced by Booth. By the way the Lil Bert experiment is certainly not conclusive. He had ONE good period, they said to him find a place to stay in D...and since then ...Nothing ! Not fast enough to compete in this league, probably at best just a another fourth liner.

it takes a good nerves system to watch this bunch..
mess all over the place...mess, mess and more mess.
Hockey suppose to be fun..it ain't for me now..
If AA would have had the same TOI in OT that Z got we might have won. Z can controls the play but can't score. AA can score in a heartbeat ...but played just one little shift. Helm had a longer shift in OT...
And what kind of goal Howard gave on the second !! geez...no effort..come on you can score on me ..your my pal !
Cant wait for this season to end..

I agree Pierre. Probably for the first time in like 25 years I did not even watch the game. I feel KH will soon trade every player with an ounce of entertainment in them (Mrazek, Tatar, AA) and will keep his good old soldiers whose agents never give him any issues. So I mostly watched Flyers game yesterday and Mrazek was great. As to Howard, well, not only he is just an average goalie, but now he has zero motivation. Mrazek trade basically guarantees contract extension for him.

Man, way too ugly to watch really...lost in OT at the 4:59 mark to the worst team in the Eastern conference.
I hope to see some deals made this weekend and begin the purge of players who are not in our future.
I'd use the final 20 game to throw kids out there in a sink or swim fashion. There is nothing to lose, they gain experience and confidence and we're get a bit ahead for the 2018/19 season. Seriously, I'd be reducing TOI's for vets, dress the kids and use them in every situation and if they make costly mistakes, so what? A losses at the end of a year we're we really were out in November mean nothing. Guys will get some experience in those situationsand be better NEXT season because of it.

I do not want KH to make any more deals, he is not capable. Mrazek deal really irked me. You have a 26 year old goalie with tons of potential, who has been hot and rededicated himself in summer. And you lose him for nothing (4th round pick is nothing) because "Hextall was desperate to make a trade on Monday?" That's what KH said, I am not even making this up.

I hear you but I'm not too worried about the Mrazek deal. I had a bigger problem with having 9 mil in cap space for two average netminders, both who are incapable of winning a Stanley Cup. Mrazek had one good half of a season that got him paid. He has been better than Howard the last couple of weeks. I hope he stays on track and prove it to be a mistake in letting him go. He won his first game for the Flyers last night winning 2-1 against Columbus. I doubt they resign him due to his salary

You do not start a youth movement by trading a 26 years old goalie (with much higher ceiling) and keeping 33 years old goalie. Yesterday for the first time in my life I wanted to watch another NHL game more than Detroit game and I absolutely genuinely hated that feeling.

Yesterday for the first time in my life I wanted to watch another NHL game more than Detroit game and I absolutely genuinely hated that feeling. We are supposed to think it’s a youth movement? Ken Holland moved a grossly overpaid 1B option in net whose failure to play consistently well long term is the number one reason the playoff streak ended. I’m thinking thereve been a lot more games that you chose to watch someone else instead of detroit.

----1B option in net whose failure to play consistently well long term is the number one reason the playoff streak ended.
----You are serious about this statement or joking? Mrazek inconsistency is probably reason #284 why the playoff streak ended. And are you aware that Howard became the #1 goalie last season after like game 10 of the season?

Anyone been watching Riley Sheahan of late? Playing well for the Pens. Haven't been following Riley. But define for me what "playing well" means? He has, like, a goal or 2 before the last day of the season?
