Heard that the Habs are resting Price tonight. They have lost the last two games with him in net.
I give the Wings a slight edge on this one. Original six games are usually close.

Michel Bergeron just talked about Mantha, Larks, and AA, the way our beloved coach handles them. Bergy said; " Blashill ? Absolutely not my type of coach !" Even the outside commentators know ...how come our people don't ?! |

Well tonight's game showed that the Wings have a ways to go before they are a contender. Montreal took out six (repeat six) regulars and still beat the Wings in OT.
Montreal's minor league players looked good against the Wings and that has me a bit worried about the future.
I said on the old board that this upcoming draft is going to be huge for the Wings. They need to make some changes and also get younger. Coaching issues are one thing but there is a talent void as well.
Okay...next game is the last at the Joe. Let's see if the boys can show some pride and bounce back to win it. It's against the only team lower than them in the Eastern conference.
