a little more lively in the second. We are so chippy in our zone that i might have to buy another couch so that i can hide behind…
Good note to Hronek on D Bad note to Helm and Abby ( are you surprise ?) Vanek looks like he is skating in the mud. Expecting some lines tweak in the third..afterall our coach is still the Math teacher...now with his new assistant The Chemistry teacher !

Gonna be a learning curve. Columbus looks like the freaking Harlem Globe Trotters out there at times LOL. I think this team i really gonna gel but it's going to take time. I think all of the pundits talk we'll finish in the bottom 3 is rubbish.

kind of bummed to see empty seats at the season home opener.
2-2 in the 3rd, lets get some points tonight to start it of right.
rookie nets his first goal in his first NHL game..congrats Dennis!

can we get Kronwall to retire? I think we're better without him haha.
I do like the way these kids play around our own net,,,knocking people on their kiesters who deserve it.

Joined the broadcast in the 3rd. Columbus out shot the Wings 15 - 3 in the 3rd. Some of the rookies are giving the puck away but that's part of the learning process.
2-2 OT starting

Final 3-2 BJs Wings had a chance early in OT but Columbus controlled the play after that. First game in the books.

Glenny on the ice for OT? I guess that's the 2018 version of Hank in OT for 2017. Slow and boring, but OT is fast and exciting. AA is pretty explosive in these situations - doesn't sniff the ice. Jeez.

we were bottled up way too long in our own end and unable to change...I didn't like the OT goal either
I'll take the 1 point. Something tells me that is our average...so we finish with 82 points and miss the playoffs for he 3rd year in a row

some notes..
Great individual effort by most of the players, but not a great effort as a core, a unit. We lack communication. Could be normal, most of the guys in this team Don't know much of each others. That CBJ goalie stole the show in OT, he was Simply better than Howard when it really matters.
To send Glen in OT was another of those famous Math teacher mistake. This type of players Don't belong on the ice when we need a goal.
Defensive wise the rookies look good individually, but couldnt ignite any kind of transition game. As soon as the had the puck it was off the glass and out. Under pressure i can understand but on many occasions they had time.
Critical PK late in the third was great to Watch. Hickett and Sulak to start on D and then Hronek and DK...fun to see that sometimes the coach trusted the kids.
AA and Vanek had no Chemistry tonight.
Abby and Helm ...well as usual ..bad !
We had our chances to win this game but CBJ dominated for the most part and we have to be glad to get out of it with a point.

Glendenning isn't a good enough skater for OT 3 on 3...too much room for speedsters to break away from him.
Our centers have to get better taking the draw.
Speaking ot TOI pretty nice that Cholowsli had 19:51, Hicketts 18:43 and Sulak at 18:26
